The main house and cellars date back to the XVIII century.
Several dependants form this little compound in the heart of
Aloxe-Corton.
The Fermenting Room
In 2002 Jean-marc renovated the vat room to its
original beauty.All the
vats were taken apart by professionals and reassembled to their new
glories.The ceiling with
its open beams was all redone and so was the floor with its authentic
flag stones fromCorton.
Entrance to the underground cellars
This cellar where the wines age from 14 months to 18
months in oak barrels, is dark and humid with plenty of a good fungus
growth on its walls. This mushroom like belongs to the family of the
“penicillium notatum” from which derives our penicillin…It acts as
a natural protective agent against any form of contamination.
The barrels rest in the heart of the cellar
